BloggerBorneo.com – Balai Bahasa Provinsi Kalimantan Barat menyelenggarakan kegiatan Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi selama sehari di Rumah Cagar Budaya Mendawai yang berada dalam kawasan Kampung Wisata Caping Pontianak.

Sebuah pesan singkat via whatsapp yang dikirim oleh salah seorang sahabat literasi dari kota Pontianak menjadi sebab kenapa Blogger Borneo dapat masuk dalam daftar peserta yang diundang untuk hadir dalam kegiatan bertemakan Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi ini.

Awal Mula Berdirinya Rumah Baca Hafizh

Mungkin jika kawan-kawan mengikuti update status Blogger Borneo di media sosial dalam kurun waktu beberapa bulan terakhir, dapat dilihat bagaimana satu ikhtiar sedang dilakukan untuk membentuk sebuah rumah baca yang diberi nama Rumah Baca Hafizh.

Adapun nama Rumah Baca Hafizh sendiri diambil berdasarkan nama panggilan sang anak dimana memang tujuan awal mengkoleksi buku bacaan selama ini adalah karena ingin menumbuhkan kegemarannya dalam membaca.

Alhamdulillah sekarang sang anak telah berusia 12 tahun dan saat ini sedang menimba ilmu sembari menambah hafalan Al-Qur’an nya di SMP Quran Al-Karima Kubu Raya. Oleh karena itu, semua buku bacaan miliknya maupun milik Blogger Borneo sendiri akan dijadikan koleksi dari Rumah Baca Hafizh.

Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi

Dalam kegiatan Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi 2023 yang diselenggarakan oleh Balai Bahasa Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, Rumah Baca Hafizh menjadi salah satu peserta undangan diantara 30-an peserta lainnya yang berasal dari Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya.

Selain Rumah Baca Hafizh, para peserta lainnya yang turut serta dalam kegiatan Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi ini, antara lain:

Sebelumnya Blogger Borneo mengucapkan terima kasih banyak kepada salah seorang sahabat literasi di kota Pontianak yang telah memberikan informasi mengenai kegiatan ini. Jujur saja memang selama ini Blogger Borneo sedang mencari akses mitra dan jaringan terkait dengan literasi di Kalimantan Barat.

Statistik TGM Masyarakat Indonesia

Sedikit mengulas mengenai peringkat literasi Indonesia, menurut data yang dilansir dari laman website BisnisUMKM.Com (16/05/2022) diketahui kita berada di urutan 62 dari 70 negara. Publikasi mengenai angka statistik ini dirilis sehari sebelum peringatan Hari Buku Nasional (HARBUKNAS).

Sedangkan berdasarkan data Perpustakaan Nasional (Perpusnas), ternyata tingkat kegemaran membaca (TGM) masyarakat Indonesia di tahun 2022 mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,4% dari yang sebelumnya sebesar 59,52 poin menjadi 63,9 poin.

Akan tetapi meskipun dilihat mengalami peningkatan secara keseluruhan, tetap tidak dapat menjadi acuan rata-rata karena untuk beberapa daerah di Indonesia angka statistiknya masih masuk dalam urutan 5 terbawah termasuk Kalimantan Barat sendiri.

Melihat kondisi ini, maka Balai Bahasa Provinsi Kalimantan Barat tidak pernah berhenti berupaya memberikan dukungan kepada Taman Baca Masyarakat dan Rumah Baca yang ada di Kalimantan Barat terutama di Kota Pontianak dan Kabupaten Kubu Raya.

Kampung Wisata Caping Pontianak

Perpustakaan Umum Bahagia Mendawai merupakan satu percontohan yang menjadi obyek dalam kegiatan Studi Banding Komunitas Literasi 2023. Sebenarnya keberadaan perpustakaan ini masuk dalam bagian dari kawasan Kampung Wisata Caping Pontianak yang keberadaannya merupakan inisiasi dari kawan-kawan Akademi Ide Kalimantan.

Menurut pemaparan dari Beny Than Heri, founder sekaligus inisiator Akademi Ide Kalimantan (sering diistilahkan dengan sebutan AIKAL), kisah perjalanan terbentuknya kawasan Kampung Wisata Caping Pontianak ini cukup panjang dan penuh dinamika.

Diawali pada tahun 2018 kisah tersebut dimulai ternyata sampai detik ini prosesnya masih terus berjalan. Hal ini dikarenakan kondisi pandemi yang sempat melanda di tahun 2020-2021 membuat pekerjaan pengembangan kawasan wisata di Kota Pontianak ini harus mengalami penundaan.

Penutup

Alhamdulillah meskipun proses pengembangan kawasan Kampung Wisata Caping Pontianak masih terus berjalan hingga saat ini, namun perubahannya sudah tampak sangat berbeda. Beberapa potongan kisahnya dapat dilihat melalui video liputan khusus diatas.
